‘Sold out to Satan’: Viganò unloads on coronavirus ‘pseudo-health regime’
The exiled archbishop had harsh words for the 'Great Reset' and those seeking to implement it
.

December 3, 2020 (Inside the Vatican) — “O God, you are awesome from your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives strength and power to his people.” —Psalm 68:35

On November 19, 2020, the founder of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, declared that “Covid is an opportunity for a global reset.”

In reality, Schwab was slavishly repeating what Jacques Attali said in the French weekly L’Express on May 3, 2009 [so, 11 years ago]: “History teaches us that humanity evolves significantly only when it is really afraid: then it initially develops defense mechanisms; sometimes intolerable (scapegoats and totalitarianisms); sometimes useless (distractions); sometimes effective (therapies, which, if necessary, may depart from all previous moral principles). Then, once the crisis is over, fear transforms these mechanisms to make them compatible with individual freedom and inscribe them as policies of a healthy democracy.”

Back then it was the swine flu which, according to the media, was expected to cause millions of deaths and for which nations bought millions of doses of vaccines never used, because they proved useless, from “Big Pharma.” Useless for all — except for those who sold them, making huge profits.

One might wonder why a flu virus that according to recent WHO data has a mortality (0.13%) slightly higher than that of a normal seasonal flu syndrome (0.10%) could have led to the declaration of the pandemic and to a series of practically identical countermeasures in almost all European nations and the American continent.

One might also wonder why Covid-19 treatments are generally discredited, minimized or prohibited, while the vaccine is considered the most effective solution.

And it needs to be explained how it is possible to create a vaccine, since — according to the statements of the US CDC (United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) — the virus has not yet been isolated.

What antigen may be used, if the virus SARS-CoV-2 cannot be isolated and replicated?

And what reliability can the virus tests have, since the tests are calibrated to detect only on the generic “Coronavirus” in general? And if on October 19 the Spallanzani Hospital in Rome announced the develop of a test that distinguishes between normal flu and Covid-19, may we know what so far have patients who undergo the new test been found positive for?

Perhaps this lack of clarity is why some members of the Moderna and Pfizer boards of directors have sold part of their company shares. So let’s go back to the questions that many posed to themselves months ago, and to the never-contradicted contents of my two Open Letters to President Trump: a world plan appears in its disconcerting reality. The architects of the plan, creating an unjustified social alarm about an alleged pandemic — that today we see is no more serious than a normal flu, as confirmed by official data from all over the world — has been used to create a tremendous global social and economic crisis and so to legitimize the drastic reduction of the basic rights of the population. It is what its authors themselves call the Great Reset: the global reset of the economy, of society and of masses of people.

In this project, the Covid virus plays a fundamental role, as an alibi that justifies — in the face of the “totem” of a science that has prostituted itself to the interests of an elite after having abdicated its mission to save human lives — the deprivation of freedom, the interference of governments in the private life of its citizens, the establishment of a pseudo-health regime in which, against all objective scientific evidence, the number of diners, the distance between people, the possibility of buying, selling, breathing and even praying, is decided from above.

Someone, in the deafening silence of the Catholic Hierarchy, has imposed the closure of churches or the limitation of religious celebrations, considering the House of God as a cinema or a museum, but at the same time declaring abortion clinics “essential services.”

These are the paradoxes of a misguided power, managed by people corrupt in the soul and sold out to Satan, a power which, after obsessively repeating the mantras of “democracy” and “power belongs to the people” is now forced to impose a dictatorship on the people themselves, in the name of the achievement of objectives aimed at protecting the political and financial interests of the elite.

The rich are getting richer and richer, while the middle classes that constitute the social fabric and the very soul of nations is being cut down.
The French Revolution wiped out the Western aristocracy.

The Industrial Revolution obliterated the peasants and spread the proletarianization which led to the disaster of Socialism and Communism.
The Revolution of ’68 demolished the family and the school.

This Great Reset, desired by the globalist elite, represents the final revolution with which to create a shapeless and anonymous mass of slaves connected to the internet, confined to the house, threatened by an endless series of pandemics designed by those who already have the miraculous vaccine ready.

Precisely in these days, with the harmony of a plan that seems orchestrated in every detail under a single leadership, the imposition of a vaccine is being theorized by many parties, even before the vaccine’s actual effectiveness is fully known, and even before the vaccine’s possible side-effects may be fully ascertained.

This obligation to receive a vaccine is projected by many to occur alongside the issuance by a “health passport,” so that those who have such a passport may move without limitations, while those who refuse a vaccine would not be able to use means of transport, attend restaurants and visit public places, schools and offices.

That this represents an intolerable violation of the individual’s freedoms does not seem to be a problem: law-makers do not hesitate to sack parliaments to impose their tyrannical norms, knowing that their power exists as long as they obey the Great Reset agenda, endorsed by the international institutions such as the European Union and the UN.

Faced with such a massive and coordinated deployment of forces we remain astonished, bewildered by the impudence of those who are telling us, in essence, that we must silently accept the dictatorship of a faceless power group, because that is how the group has decided.

We are disconcerted by the enslavement of the world Left — and of the Democrats in the United States — to this agenda, which knows no limits, no restraints on its execution, to the point of organizing an electoral coup of such magnitude and gravity as to be horrified.

The manual fraud of duplicate ballots, the votes of deceased people, citizens who discover they have voted a thousand times and employees who tamper with the results by obscuring the windows of the polling stations with cardboard panels, is accompanied by the use of a vote-counting apparatus which is proving not only to be open to fraudulent use, but even to have been designed at the software level to allow the shifting of votes from one candidate to another, based on a complex algorithm.

We discover that the people behind this macroscopic fraud are always the same, always of the same political party, always subservient to the same ideology. People corrupt in intellect and will, because they made themselves the slaves of a ruthless tyrant, after refusing to obey a good, just and merciful Lord.

Thus, as these have accepted the slavery of sin and rebellion against God, today they would like to drag the whole of humanity into an abyss of death and despair: it is the miserable revenge of Satan, who, not being able to defeat the One who cast him into hell, tries to drag with him as many souls as possible, in an attempt to frustrate the work of Redemption.

We, believers in Christ Our Only Lord, have no reason to fear, even against all human reason: we know that, reborn in Baptism, we are no longer servants but children of God, and that by preserving the friendship of our Lord with Grace we can trust in Him, in His provident help, in His powerful protection.

Ultimately, this is true freedom: the freedom of the children of God, who obey His law not out of fear but out of love, not out of compulsion but because in adhering to the divine will they will find their own perfect fulfillment and their complete realization. For every soul is created for the greater glory of God, for eternal bliss as a reward of fidelity to the Savior.

Don’t let our hearts be troubled!

The maneuvers of those who work in darkness are coming to light, showing themselves in all their horror and revealing their perverse and infernal matrix. Lies, deceptions, violence, death: this is the harsh reality of evil before which people of good will can only be horrified. If Our Lord deigns to listen to the prayers of His children, this castle of lies and fraud will collapse miserably, and its architects will have to go back into hiding to escape the rigors of justice and the execration of peoples.

These are decisive hours: we continue to pray, to recite the Holy Rosary, to nourish ourselves with the Most Holy Eucharist, to do penance. The choral voice that rises up to the throne of the divine Majesty will not remain unheard.

Let us not be discouraged, because it is in the moment of trial that the Lord gives us the opportunity to show our trust in Him and to see the greatness of His mercy. “Whatsoever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (Jn 14, 13). Our Lord told us clearly: anything.

We therefore ask the Father, in the name of the Son our Lord and Redeemer, through the intercession of His most holy Mother our powerful mediator, to show His glory, to grant the exaltation of Holy Church, peace and prosperity to the Christian peoples, the conversion of sinners, the defeat of His enemies.

God arises, and his enemies will be scattered, and those who hate him will flee before him” (Psalm 68:1).

A Sermon delivered by His Grace, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre on Sunday, May 2,1976
before an association of Catholic families in Southern France

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

My dear brethren:

You have just heard the Gospel of the Second Sunday after Easter, which is the Gospel of the Good Shepherd. And indeed, if there is a problem which torments us today, it is in asking ourselves if we really still have good shepherds. For what, in fact, is a good shepherd, if not he who walks before his sheep, before his lambs, and who leads them there where they can find good food? Now Our Lord says that He is the Good Shepherd. He is the Good Shepherd because it is He Who gives true nourishment to our intellects, to our wills, to our hearts: the nourishment of truth, the nourishment of charity, the nourishment of the desire to sanctify ourselves. This is the nourishment that Our Lord Jesus Christ came to bring us.

He Himself told us that He is the Way. the Truth, and the Life. He is the Way: He walks on the way to draw us after Him, like the Good Shepherd. He is the Truth: He enlightens our intellects to show us where we are going and what God promises us if we follow Him. And finally, He is the Life: for He truly gives us the food of life, in giving us Himself, particularly in the Holy Eucharist. This is what the Good Shepherd is.

Now Our Lord Himself warned us ... He took the trouble to warn us: There are also mercenaries. What, then, are these mercenaries? These mercenaries are those who assume power over the flock so as to lead it to death. Because at the least danger, these mercenaries flee and leave the flock abandoned. And the wolf comes and disperses the flock. Our Lord thus warned us that there would be times when the flock would be abandoned.. . abandoned because those who were supposed to lead it lost their bearings or at least did not want to fulfill the role of the true shepherd, and considering themselves as mere mercenaries, abandoned the flock.

Do we not have the impression today that the flock which is the Church, which is nothing other than the Church, is somewhat abandoned? Confusion reigns everywhere—anguish, anxiety, danger. It seems to us, in fact, that the flock could be attacked from any side by those who wish its destruction. And is it not he who, here below, should be the Shepherd after Our Lord Jesus Christ, the first among shepherds, our Holy Father the Pope, who himself has spoken of auto-demolition, of auto-destruction, of the smoke of Satan inside the flock, inside the Church? It is indeed nothing else. He too announced in a way that the Church would be invaded, besieged by satanic forces which would destroy her.

SO in the face of this danger which hems us in, more or less, and which threatens us every day, what should we do? What does the man do who has the instinct of preserving his life? He defends himself against the powers that want to destroy in him above all supernatural life, the life of God in him, the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ. That is why you are, I should say, as a remnant of this flock which is attacked, which is abandoned, which is dispersed; why you have found a priest who is a shepherd, who wants to give you the truth that Our Lord Jesus Christ has always taught us, that the Church has always taught; who really wants to give you the grace of Our Lord, which is desired for us and transmitted to us by Our Lord, by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, by the Sacraments, by devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin. So you group yourselves around him. And that is what thousands upon thousands of Catholics are doing throughout the world. They group themselves around a shepherd whom they feel to be a true shepherd.

And this is very important because we have need of the supernatural life which God came to give us. God did not come to make us the sheep of His flock so that He could abandon us later. This is not possible. No doubt He foresaw extraordinary times, times in which the Church would seem eclipsed—the time of the great apostasy. Could we not be in a period of preparation for this great apostasy, when no one will believe in God any longer, when no one will believe in Our Lord Jesus Christ any longer, or in His divinity ; when men will look only to one another.

Now that is indeed what is happening today. They would like in a way to separate us from God, to separate us from Our Lord Jesus Christ; to sever us from our roots, from the sources of life, from the sources of life which are given by Our Lord: Our Lord instituted them Himself. We ourselves do not have the right to choose the sources of our life. These sources Our Lord has given to us.

The principal one is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. He gave Himself, He gave His Blood, to sanctify the earth. His Blood was poured forth on this earth to sanctify it. He did not only want to do it a single time; He wanted it to continue on our altars, and that is why He made priests. Priests have no other role. It is their principal role, their fundamental role, their essential role to ascend to the altar to offer the Holy Sacrifice of Our Lord and to give you life—to you, the faithful, to you the sheep, the lambs of the flock—to give Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is our Sanctifier, Who is our Saviour, Who is our Salvation.

And let us firmly believe that there is no other flock. They would like to make us believe today that all religions save, that there are thus several shepherds ant that there would then be several flocks. No. There are not several shepherds; there are not several flocks. There is only one—one shepherd and one flock. It is this that Our Lord tells us in the Holy Gospel. Not only is there but one flock and one shepherd, but all others must come, Our Lord says, to join this flock. Thus it is necessary that they convert and that they separate themselves from those shepherds who are not at all such, from those shepherds who lead them to poisoned pastures which will bring them only death.

OUR Lord wants there to be only one flock and one shepherd. And that the world does not want. The world does not accept the royalty of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The world does not accept that we have only one Saviour; that there is only one way of salvation, which is the Cross—the Holy Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ; that there is only one Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of the Mass, which is the way of our salvation; that there are only the seven Sacraments designated by Our Lord Himself, instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, which are the way to our salvation. The world wants none of this.

The world wants liberty. The world wants to save itself as it pleases. The world wants to give itself up to all ideologies, to all its desires; it wants no more neither of the Law of Our Lord Jesus Christ nor of His truth. And then we are to believe that people who refuse Our Lord Jesus Christ can be saved! Our Lord Jesus Christ said Himself: "No one can be saved if he does not pass by Me. To go to the Father, I am the Way." There is no other way. And Saint Peter said after the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ: There is no salvation outside of the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ-no salvation. There is no salvation outside of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

So we must keep the faith: faith in the divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is very important and this is why we must follow our Shepherd, who is Our Lord Jesus Christ. And if it should happen that those who are intermediaries between the Shepherd, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and ourselves want to turn us away from Our Lord Jesus Christ, then we must say no. We shall not accept it. We want to follow Our Lord. We do not want to become protestants, of those who doubt the divinity of Our Lord. We do not want to be of those who doubt the Resurrection of Our Lord. We do not want to be of those who doubt the Real Presence of Our Lord with His Body, His Blood, His Soul and His Divinity in the Holy Eucharist. We do not want this!

"But now theological research, but now the discoveries of science give us to understand that those things are things of the past." No! We shall never accept such things! We want to be faithful to Our Lord Jesus Christ! We want to follow Him wherever He may lead us and we want to keep His teachings. This is what we must take as our resolution, no matter who may seek to contradict us.

For this much is certain: If we remain faithful to our Creed; if we remain faithful to our catechism— to our old catechism of the past, which flowed from the Catechism of the Council of Trent, that Council which made such a magnificent catechism, the summary of the whole Catholic Faith—if we remain faithful to this catechism; if we remain faithful to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the Church has always celebrated it, so as to be sure that Our Lord Jesus Christ is present on our holy altars and that in the Holy Eucharist we are receiving the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ; if we remain faithful to the Sacraments and to devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin, then we are sure of being in the right. We are sure of following the true shepherd, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

And if any shepherd—whoever he may be, whatever may be his authority on this earth—wants to turn us away from these truths, we must say no! Impossible! We cannot turn away from Our Lord Jesus Christ. And this should be for us an absolute resolution. Because that is not possible; we cannot be wrong.

We should likewise be mistrustful sometimes of those persons, or of those shepherds extraordinary, I should call them, or of those other extraordinary messengers, men and women, who come to tell us, Heaven says, Heaven wants, Heaven has spoken to them, Heaven has given them particular revelations. No doubt all this is possible—Our Lord can manifest Himself to souls, as He did to Saint Francis of Assisi when Saint Francis received the stigmata of Our Lord. He did so to Saint Catherine of Siena who also received the stigmata of Our Lord. The Most Blessed Virgin has appeared numerous times in the course of the history of the Church to encourage the faithful, and especially those who do not believe return to the faith.

But today we must be very prudent. The devil is powerful; the devil seems unchained today. It seems that God has given him all power to do as he wishes on earth. And thus we risk finding ourselves in touch with persons who believe that they are in communication with Heaven and who, in fact, are being deceived by the devil himself.

THERE are things in which we cannot go wrong. So why not adhere to those things which Our Lord gave us for all time? Those will be sure until the end of time. But if we really believe, in all sincerity, after having carefully examined things as well as we can in our conscience, and after having asked the advice of priests who are capable of giving us sound information on the visions, on the messages, on the revelations being made these days . . . perhaps if we really feel that we are converted, that all that is doing us good, that these contacts are doing us good, that these prayers encourage us, fine.

But we must be very prudent. Because I could cite you actual cases of persons who believed for a long time that they were in communication with God and who were simply in communication with the devil. So we must be very careful. Are we not in those times of which Our Lord said: "A day shall come when men will say to you, 'Christ is here, Christ is there, Christ is in the country, Christ is in the mountains.' "? "Do not go," Our Lord said, "Do not go." Are we not in these latter times when the devil employs every means to disperse us, to tear us apart, to divide us, so as to reduce the flock to nothing?

In these critical moments, we must remain with that which is surest. We must avoid doubtful things.

We must make our stand on things that are certain, absolutely certain, without a thousandth per cent of doubt: our Creed, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacraments, devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin. We cannot go wrong there. If we are firmly attached to these things we can work out our salvation. Our Lord willed these things for our salvation. So let us adhere to these things with all our heart.

Let us adore Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Let us have respect for Our Lord, our God, Our Saviour, our Creator: for Him Who is everything for us. How should we dare to present ourselves standing before Him Who will be our Judge at the end of time? Let us kneel before Our Lord with profound devotion. Let us receive Him in our hearts as the greatest treasure that we can have here below. Let us thank God for coming into our poor bodies, into our poor souls, sinners that we are. May God deign to reside in us for some time in His Body and in His Blood—this is the most beautiful, the grandest thing that God could do. And along with this respect for Our Lord Jesus Christ, let us love Him with our whole heart. Let us serve Him. Let us consider Him truly as our Shepherd.

Let us ask this of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary— of the Most Blessed Virgin who had only one name on her lips, only one name in her heart, that of her son, Jesus. Let it be for us as it was for her. Let us have one love only here below, one genuine love, in which we love all other creatures—but all other creatures should bring us to this love and not remove us from it. Let us love Our Lord Jesus Christ with our whole heart, with our whole soul, with our whole strength.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Archbishop Lefebvre: 1975 Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Priesthood
Posted by: Stone - 12-03-2020, 02:51 PM - Forum: Sermons and Conferences - No Replies

Discourse pronounced by His Grace, the Most Reverend Marcel Lefebvre
on September 8, 1975, in Austria,
after having been forbidden to celebrate Holy Mass, to the great scandal of the numerous pilgrims present.

[Image: ?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3...%3DApi&f=1]

My dear brethren:

I regret that I am unable to speak to you in your own language, but you have an interpreter in the person of this seminarian who is with me and who is accustomed to translating for me.

I wish to thank Dr. Steinhart, who was so kind as to organize this pilgrimage, and I should like to thank as well the Reverend Fathers who have been so kind as to receive me. We should indeed have been happy to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with you, but God has asked this small sacrifice of us so that we may adore Him in His Blessed Sacrament. We shall ask of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary that we may adore Him with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our strength - for if there is today a sentiment in danger of disappearing from the hearts of men, it is indeed that of adoration. Adore Our Lord Jesus Christ - that is what we shall do during this hour of prayer, during this hour of adoration.

For what shall we especially pray? We shall pray to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary in this place of pilgrimage [Mariazell, the Austrian national shrine] which you love and which is the heart of Austria, in this place of pilgrimage where the eminent Cardinal Mindszenty was recently buried, he who for us is an image of the Faith opposed to all the enemies of the Church and to those who want to tear from our hearts this Faith which is for us the promise of eternal life and without which a Catholic Christian cannot live. Thus, we shall also ask of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, through the intercession of Cardinal Mindszenty, that she increase our Faith today in our hearts and in our souls, that we may truly be among those who are attached to the Creed of the Catholic Church and to the Catholic Priesthood.

THE MOST BLESSED VIRGIN MARY is first and above all the Mother of the Eternal Priest.

Our Lord Jesus Christ was essentially Priest for eternity, Priest according to the Order of Melchisedech. The whole life of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His whole raison d'etre, was to offer the Sacrifice of the Cross, to offer Himself on the Cross. This was the goal of the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ. All His life Our Lord Jesus Christ was haunted by this desire to ascend the Cross. How many times Our Lord said, "My hour is not yet come." "My hour is coming." "My hour is come." Why? Because the hour of Our Lord Jesus Christ was the hour of His Sacrifice. When He ascended the Cross and offered His Sacrifice, He Himself said, "All is consummated - Consummatum est. " I have done My work. I have realized My desire; I have accomplished that for which I came on earth - to offer My sacrifice to God for the redemption of the sins of the world. This is why Our Lord came, and this is what the Most Blessed Virgin Mary teaches us. For the Virgin Mary is nothing other than the mirror of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In her heart there is no other name written, than the name of Jesus and of Jesus Crucified. The Most Blessed Virgin Mary accompanied Him everywhere, even to the Sacrifice of the Cross. She was present there as if to teach us that she had no dearer desire than to be with Our Lord on Calvary at the Sacrifice of the Cross.

This then is what she teaches us today, as always, in a special manner: to love the Sacrifice of the Cross; to see in Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Lord Jesus Christ Crucified. And consequently, we, too, should have this desire to participate in the Sacrifice of Our Lord, to unite ourselves to the Sacrifice of the Cross, that we may truly be Christians who offer themselves with Our Lord, who unite themselves to Him in His Sacrifice as victims with Him. Such is the true Christian; such is the Catholic.

It seems to me that the Virgin Mary, whom we find close to the Cross, Our Lady of Compassion, Our Lady Co-Redemptrix, invites each one of us, each human creature born into this world - she takes us by the hand, after a fashion, to lead us to Calvary, to give us to participate in the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. But how does she give us to participate in the merits of her Divine Son for the redemption of our sins? Through priests. Our Lord wished that we participate in the Sacrifice of the Cross, that we receive His merits, that our souls be washed of their sins through His Sacrifice continued by His priests. When He said to them at the Last Supper, "Do -Do this in memory of Me – Hoc facite in meam commemorationem" - Our Lord did not say, Repeat the account of My Supper, recall My sacrifice. He said "Facite" - perform this Sacrifice. Reproduce this Sacrifice; continue My sacrifice. "Hoc facite in meam commemorationem. "

And this is the whole difference between the Catholic doctrine, which has always been taught, and the Protestant doctrine. The Protestants forget - they do not want to know that Our Lord said, "Hoc facite" - Do this in memory of Me. They say only, "in meam commemorationem." Remember Me. This they say who do not continue the Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Blessed Virgin Mary teaches us, with the Apostles, with Our Lord, that we must go to the altar with the priest to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and that by the mouth of the priest Our Lord truly returns on the altar as Victim present in the Holy Eucharist. It is to the Apostles that He said, "Hoc facite. " Thus we must ask of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary that we may have a profound faith in the Holy Sacrifice of the altar.

THE CHURCH cannot do without the Sacrifice of the Altar. Look at the beautiful churches, which have been constructed. A little while ago - the Reverend Father Abbot was telling me that this church, or at least the original church, dates back to the beginning of the ninth century. How many generations have come to this Church of Mariazell to pray and to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered by priests! The altar is the life of the Church, the altar of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

We should then have a profound faith in the action, which takes place on the altar by the mouth of the priest. When the priest pronounces the words of the Consecration, Our Lord, as on the Cross, returns on the altar to offer His Sacrifice, which is continued for the remission of our sins. This is the heart of the Mass; this is what the Most Blessed Virgin Mary teaches us, this is what the Apostles teach us.

You learned in your catechism that the sacrifice of the altar is a true sacrifice and that it differs from the sacrifice of the Cross only because the sacrifice of the Cross was bloody and the sacrifice of the Mass is unbloody. This is the only difference between the sacrifice of the Cross and the sacrifice of the altar. That is why we venerate the sacrifice of the altar. In Catholic doctrine, all is there. All is gathered together in this small and this immense reality of the Sacrifice of the Mass. For if there is a sacrifice, the victim must be present. There is no sacrifice if there is no victim present. Thus, Our Lord must be present because He offers Himself in sacrifice. Let us not say, then, that the Sacrifice of the Mass is simply a commemorative meal, a simple remembrance of what Our Lord did at the Last Supper. All that is a blasphemy against the doctrine of the Church, against that which Our Lord Jesus Christ did and which He wanted to do.

All that ruins the priesthood. The priest is not the president of a commemorative meal; he is not the one who presides at a meal table. The priest is he who performs the sacrifice. The priest is he who causes to descend upon the altar the victim who is present, really present on the altar. Thus you see the grandeur of the priest, who has need of a character to offer the sacrifice, who needs to be marked in his soul for all time - for all eternity - to offer this sacrifice. You see that he must keep his virginity, observe celibacy, because for him it is an extraordinary thing - to cause God to come from heaven to earth, to cause Our Lord Jesus Christ to come in the Holy Eucharist, by his words, by his lips. Thus one can understand why the priest is a virgin, why the priest does not marry, why he is a virgin like the Virgin Mary. This is why the priest is a celibate, and not because he is too busy with the concerns of his apostolate.

THE WHOLE GRANDEUR of the Sacrifice of the Mass comes precisely from the fact that it is a real sacrifice, like the sacrifice of Calvary. This is what our ancestors always believed; this is what the Church has always believed. We cannot vary from this faith by one iota. If we vary, if we change the expressions, if we now say: we are offering a Eucharist, we are having a eucharistic meal, we are having a supper...then we are becoming Protestants. And we are losing the whole reality of the Catholic Church, which reposes on this truth. There is no more Catholic Church if there is no more Sacrifice of the Mass. There is no more Catholic Church if there is no more priest who has a character so that he may offer the Holy Sacrifice.

This is why these beautiful churches were constructed. It was not for a eucharistic meal. It is the Faith of the Catholic people, which caused these magnificent basilicas to be constructed throughout the world for the Sacrifice of Our Lord, which must be continued on the altar, and for the presence of the Divine Victim in which we participate in Holy Communion and with Whom we offer ourselves. This is the reality of the Sacrifice of the Mass. This is the reality of the priesthood.

This is also why the Faithful owe it to themselves to have an immense respect for the altar of God where the sacrifice is offered
. And they should have this respect for the Eucharist where the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ are truly, really and substantially present. We shall never be respectful enough; we shall never adore the Holy Eucharist with a heart sufficiently respectful.

That is why it has been the custom of the Church for countless centuries to kneel down to receive the Holy Eucharist. It is prostrate on the ground that we ought to receive the Holy Eucharist, and not standing up. Are we the equals of Our Lord Jesus Christ? Is it not He who will come on the clouds of heaven to judge us? When we see Our Lord Jesus Christ, shall we not do like the Apostles of Thabor, who prostrated themselves on the ground from fear and admiration before the grandeur, the splendor of Our Lord Jesus Christ? Is it not the great shame of our age that we lack respect towards Our Lord Jesus Christ? Let us guard in our hearts and in our souls this spirit of adoration, this spirit of profound respect for Him Who created us, for Him Who redeemed us, for Him Who died on the Cross for our sins.

WHAT DO WE OBSERVE in the ten years since the end of the Council? We are obliged to observe, we cannot close our eyes, we must not close our eyes to the sad realities of our age, when priests themselves lose their faith in the priesthood, and no longer know what the Sacrifice of the Mass is. When priests even abandon their priesthood. The seminaries are empty. Why? Why are there no more vocations? Because men no longer know what the Sacrifice of the Mass is. Consequently, they can no longer define the priest. When the Sacrifice of the Mass is well defined, when it is known, when it is accepted as the Church has always taught, then vocations are numerous.

I have the evidence in my own seminary. I do nothing other than reaffirm the truths, which the Church has always affirmed. So these young men are attracted by the altar, by the Sacrifice of the Mass. What an extraordinary grace for a young man to ascend to the altar as the minister of Our Lord, to be another Christ, to offer the same sacrifice that Our Lord offered! There is nothing more beautiful, nothing more grand here below. Then it is worth the trouble to ascend to the altar, to abandon one's family, to leave the world to ascend to the altar. But if all that no longer exists, there is no more reason for vocations. And that is why the seminaries are empty. Let there be a return to the true notions of the Faith and there will be vocations; but if men abandon these notions of the Faith, if they continue in the same line as the Church in the last ten years, soon all the seminaries will be up for sale and all the religious congregations will disappear.

For what is the grandeur and the beauty of the religious, man or woman? It is to offer himself or herself as a victim at the altar with Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the life of the religious. If they no longer have this intention - "I offer myself publicly in the Church as victim with Our Lord; my whole life is offered with Our Lord" - then the religious life has no more sense. And that is why there are not more religious vocations. Let there be a return to this spirit of victim, of sacrifice and of union with Our Lord Jesus Christ at the altar, and then the vocations will flourish once again and will become numerous. There are vocations, the young desire to devote themselves - and they are as numerous in our age as they have been in every other. But let them be given true things, real things, that which the Church has always given, and then vocations will flourish once again.

Ah, how much I should like you to understand my dear brethren, why our seminary at Econe is filled with vocations, why these young men come to us - to continue the Catholic Church and for no other motive. And not to become Protestants! We refuse to become Protestants, to be modernists, to be progressives in the degree that these things are contrary to our Catholic truth, in the degree that these things have been condemned by the Popes for centuries and centuries. We refuse them! We want to remain Catholic. We want Catholic seminaries and Catholic priests - nothing else! Now, they want to forbid us to form Catholic priests, to have Catholic seminaries. These young men, if I send them to other seminaries, risk losing their Faith, and not only the Faith, but their morals as well. So I maintain a deep faith in Divine Providence. God cannot abandon His Church.

Our Lord wants Catholic priests as He Himself made them. The Pope cannot not want Catholic priests. The Church cannot not want Catholic priests. That is why I am persuaded that we remain profoundly united to our Holy Father the Pope and to the Church. That which the Church has desired for twenty centuries the Pope cannot not desire. It is impossible. Thus it is altogether false to say that we risk becoming a sect or falling into schism. Far from it. None are more united than we to our Holy Father and to the Catholic Church.

WE ASK THE MOST BLESSED VIRGIN MARY then, to guard the Catholic priesthood and to grant that it may continue. We shall ask that numerous graces of vocations and of attachment to the Church be given to those young men who desire to become priests. We shall pray in the course of this Rosary for the Church, for our Holy Father the Pope; that the seminaries may once again become true houses of formation of Catholic priests; that men and women religious may find once again the way of the truth; and that religious congregations may flourish anew and return to the Faith of Tradition, the Faith which has been taught for twenty centuries.

That is what we shall ask of the Most Blessed Virgin during the course of this prayer, for you need priests, many priests, holy priests. This is certainly what you desire, and what we shall pray for today, gathered around Our Lady of Mariazell. May God grant us the grace ever to have priests, holy priests.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Fauci knew about HCQ in 2005 -- nobody needed to die

NE News Now | Monday, April 27, 2020

Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose “expert” advice to President Trump has resulted in the complete shutdown of the greatest economic engine in world history, has known since 2005 that chloroquine is an effective inhibitor of coronaviruses.

How did he know this? Because of research done by the National Institutes of Health, of which he is the director. In connection with the SARS outbreak - caused by a coronavirus dubbed SARS- CoV - the NIH researched chloroquine and concluded that it was effective at stopping the SARS coronavirus in its tracks. The COVID-19 bug is likewise a coronavirus, labeled SARS-CoV-2. While not exactly the same virus as SARS-CoV-1, it is genetically related to it, and shares 79% of its genome, as the name SARS-CoV-2 implies. They both use the same host cell receptor, which is what viruses use to gain entry to the cell and infect the victim.

The Virology Journal - the official publication of Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health - published what is now a blockbuster article on August 22, 2005, under the heading - get ready for this - “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” Write the researchers,

Quote:We report...that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”

This means, of course, that Dr. Fauci has known for 15 years that chloroquine and it’s even milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) will not only treat a current case of coronavirus (“therapeutic”) but prevent future cases (“prophylactic”). So HCQ functions as both a cure and a vaccine. In other words, it’s a wonder drug for coronavirus. Said Dr. Fauci’s NIH in 2005, “concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.” Fauci’s researchers add, “chloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.”

Dr. Didier Raoult, the Anthony Fauci of France, had such spectacular success using HCQ to treat victims of SARS-CoV-2 that he said way back on February 25 that “it’s game over” for coronavirus.

He and a team of researchers reported that the use of HCQ administered with both azithromycin and zinc cured 79 of 80 patients with only “rare and minor” adverse events. “In conclusion,” these researchers write, “we confirm the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine associated with azithromycin in the treatment of COVID-19 and its potential effectiveness in the early impairment of contagiousness.”

The highly-publicized VA study that purported to show HCQ was ineffective showed nothing of the sort. HCQ wasn’t administered until the patients were virtually on their deathbeds when research indicates it should be prescribed as soon as symptoms are apparent. Plus, HCQ was administered without azithromycin and zinc, which form the cocktail that makes it supremely effective. At-risk individuals need to receive the HCQ cocktail at the first sign of symptoms.

But Governor Andrew Cuomo banned the use of HCQ in the entire state of New York on March 6, the Democrat governors of Nevada and Michigan soon followed suit, and by March 28 the whole country was under incarceration-in-place fatwas.

Nothing happened with regard to the use of HCQ in the U.S. until March 20, when President Trump put his foot down and insisted that the FDA consider authorizing HCQ for off-label use to treat SARS-CoV-2.

On March 23, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko reported that he had treated around 500 coronavirus patients with HCQ and had seen an astonishing 100% success rate. That’s not the “anecdotal” evidence Dr. Fauci sneers at, but actual results with real patients in clinical settings.

“Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen. Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea.”

Said Dr. Zelenko:
Quote:"If you scale this nationally, the economy will rebound much quicker. The country will open again. And let me tell you a very important point. This treatment costs about $20. That’s very important because you can scale that nationally. If every treatment costs $20,000, that’s not so good.

All I’m doing is repurposing old, available drugs which we know their safety profiles, and using them in a unique combination in an outpatient setting."

The questions are disturbing to a spectacular degree. If Dr. Fauci has known since 2005 of the effectiveness of HCQ, why hasn’t it been administered immediately after people show symptoms, as Dr. Zelenko has done? Maybe then nobody would have died and nobody would have been incarcerated in place except the sick, which is who a quarantine is for in the first place. To paraphrase Jesus, it’s not the symptom-free who need HCQ but the sick. And they need it at the first sign of symptoms.

While the regressive health care establishment wants the HCQ cocktail to only be administered late in the course of the infection, from a medical standpoint, this is stupid. Said one doctor, “As a physician, this baffles me. I can’t think of a single infectious condition — bacterial, fungal, or viral — where the best medical treatment is to delay the use of an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, or anti-viral until the infection is far advanced.”

So why has Dr. Fauci minimized and dismissed HCQ at every turn instead of pushing this thing from jump street? He didn’t even launch clinical trials of HCQ until April 9, by which time 33,000 people had died.

This may be why: “Chloroquine, a relatively safe, effective and cheap drug used for treating many human diseases...is effective in inhibiting the infection and spread of SARS CoV.” That’s the problem. It is safe, inexpensive, and it works - in other words, there’s nothing [...] avant-garde about HCQ. It’s been around since 1934.

Given human nature, it’s possible, even likely, that those who are chasing the unicorn of a coronavirus vaccine are doing so for reasons other than human health. I can’t see into anybody’s heart, and can’t presume to know their motives, but on the other hand, human nature recognizes that there’s no glory in pushing HCQ, and nobody is going to get anything named for him in the history books. The polio vaccine was developed by Jonas Salk in 1954, and it is still known as the “Salk vaccine.” There will be no “Fauci vaccine” if HCQ is the answer to the problem.

So while Dr. Fauci is tut-tutting and pooh-poohing HCQ, Dr. Raoult and Dr. Zelensky are out there saving lives at $20 a pop. Maybe we should spend more time listening to them than the wizards-of-smart bureaucrats the Talking Snake Media fawns over.

Dr. Fauci is regarded by the Talking Snake Media as the Oracle at Delphi. The entire nation hangs on his every word. But if nobody is dying and nobody is locked down, his 15 minutes of fame fades to zero. Very few people are not going to be influenced by that prospect, especially when it’s easy to keep the attention of the public by continuing to feed the panic.

It should not be overlooked that there is no money in HCQ for Big Pharma since HCQ is a generic that can be manufactured so cheaply there is little profit margin in it. On the other hand, the payday for a vaccine will literally be off-the-charts. Who knows what kind of behind-the-scenes pressure is being put on Fauci and others in the health care establishment?

There is a monstrous reputational risk for those who will be found to have dismissively waved off a treatment that could have been used from the very beginning, even back on February 15 when Dr. Fauci said that the risk from Coronavirus was “minuscule.” How many lives could have been saved if the heads of our multi-billion dollar health care bureaucracy had been advocating for HCQ treatment from day one? We’ll never know. Instead, their advice has been dangerous and deadly in every sense of that word.

Someday - maybe even today - we will be able to identify the individuals who had the knowledge and expertise to make a global difference, but turned up their noses at the solution when it could have made all the difference in the world.

A Sermon by His Excellency Archbishop Lefebvre On the Occasion of the Tenth Anniversary of the Society of St. Pius X

We Are Not Rebels

Taken from  - Apologia pro Marcel Lefebvre
Volume 3, Chapter XLII

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

My dear friends, my dear brothers,

The Feast of All Saints, the ordination which is going to take place in a few minutes, and the anniversary of the foundation of the Society – these are so many events which gives us a unique opportunity to meditate on the question of holiness, and of the holiness of the priesthood.

Actually, if there is one reason for choosing those who should offer the Holy Mysteries, it is their holiness. I think that if we consider all those who today enjoy the glory of heaven, all the saints who are united to Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the Most Holy Virgin Mary, to all the holy angels who sing the glory of God and of Our Lord Jesus Christ, if we should ask them, each one, the means, the path of their sanctification, there is no doubt that they would reply: the path of sanctification is Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Our Lord Jesus Christ Crucified, the path of perfection, the path of holiness is the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

So, if it is true that the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the means of our sanctification, you see immediately what the reason for the priest should be…the path of sanctification for him whose very identity is to offer the Holy Sacrifice, and to offer therefore in the very Person of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His own name, the continuation of His Sacrifice of the Cross; it is in the Sacrifice of the Cross that the priest will find the fundamental reason, the essential, the continual reason of his sanctification, it will be also for him the means of sanctifying the faithful. For the faithful the path of sanctification is the same as that of the priest, it is the way of the Cross.

St. Paul so beautifully teaches us what a priest is in his Epistle to the Hebrews, chapter five. He says:
“Every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. Because of this he is bound to offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people."

He adds, as he is himself weighed down with weaknesses, that he (the priest) should sympathize with those who are ignorance and error. He should strive to have compassion on those who are in error and with those who are in ignorance. This is the secret of the Sacrament of Penance. The priest is therefore made to offer the Holy Sacrifice, to transmit the graces of the Sacrifice, especially in the Sacrament of Penance, exerting himself for those who are in error and ignorance. Since he is himself a sinner, he must offer the Holy Sacrifice also for himself, for his own sins, and not only for the sins of the people of God. See how, in a few lines, St. Paul sums up the very essence of the priest.

Thus, my dear friends, you who are going up to the altar in a few minutes to receive an ordination which will prepare you to offer the Holy Mysteries of God, the Holy Mysteries of Our Lord Jesus Christ – meditate on these words of St. Paul. Know that you too are weak, know too that you are sinners, and yet the Good Lord has chosen you! St. Paul further says: the priest has not chosen himself but he has been chosen, like Aaron, like the Levites, chosen by God to offer the Holy Sacrifice, to offer the true Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Prepare yourselves, my dear friends, to receive the grace of the priesthood in order to be true priests, holy priests such as the Church wants.

What have we seen for twenty years now? Instead of returning to these fundamental notions of the Church, which are her foundation and cornerstone, a new spirit has been introduced; a new spirit which, far from bringing a return to the true meaning of the Holy Mysteries, has approached the mysteries of the Protestant Last Supper, thus destroying what there was of mystery – profound, divine, sacred – in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In comparing our Sacrifice, the sacrifice of Our Lord, with the unworthy sacrifice of the Protestants, the Sacrifice of the Mass has been emptied of meaning. Now it is plainly evident; we can see every day, the results of this change of attitude in priests, a change which has been introduced under the influence of the Modernists who have invaded the Church. The Church has not done this thing, it is the Modernists and progressivists who have invaded the Church and who have imposed on Catholics an idea of the Sacrifice of the Mass which is not the true idea of the Sacrifice of the Mass, which has emptied the Sacrifice of the Mass of meaning.

That is why we have resisted. We are not rebels, we are not schismatics, we are not heretics. We resist. We resist this wave of Modernism which has invaded the Church, this wave of laicism, of progressivism which has invaded the Church in a wholly unwarranted and unjust manner and which has tried to erase in the Church all that was sacred in it, all that was supernatural, divine, in order to reduce it to the dimension of man. So we resist and we will resist, not in a spirit of rebellion, but in the spirit of fidelity to the Church, the spirit of fidelity to God, and to Our Lord Jesus Christ, the spirit of fidelity to all who have taught us our holy religion, the spirit of fidelity to all the popes who have maintained Tradition. This is why we have decided simply to keep going, to persevere in Tradition, to persevere in that which has sanctified the saints who are in heaven. Doing so we are persuaded we are rendering a great service to the church, to all the faithful who wish to keep the Faith, all the faithful who wish to receive truly the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Little by little, apparently, some authorities in the Church are beginning to realize – more objectively – that serious mistakes have been made, and that it is perhaps time, if not to return completely to the former ways of things, which would be ideal, then to reform their reforms. It is at least a first step. Alas! It has taken twelve years of these tragic results: defection of priests, defection of members of religious orders, the ruin of novitiates, the ruin even of religious holiness, the ruin of churches, the apostasy of so many faithful. All this had to happen before our eyes so that a start could be made slowly to realize the damage which this reform has caused – reform which was not made by the Church but which has been carried out by those who were imbued with ideas contrary to those which the Church has always taught.

Recently I have been re-reading the encyclical Humani Generis of Pope Pius XII, which he promulgated in 1950. This encyclical is neither more nor less than a condemnation of all that has happened since the Council. It is impossible to admit that what has happened since the Council and to admit at the same time that Pope Pius XII was right in his encyclical Humani Generis.

We have made our choice. We obey the popes, the popes of Tradition and we are persuaded we are rendering great service to the Church and that we find here the way of Truth.

This, I think, is what we should see in today's Feast, in this ordination which is an ordination performed like those of Tradition; in the Feast of All Saints; where all the saints teach us to remain in Tradition, to do what they did to sanctify themselves, to do what they did to get to heaven.

This is quite simply what we are doing. We carry out the same rites, the same rubrics, the same prayers, we adore the same God, we adore Our Lord Jesus Christ, we believe in our immemorial catechism as they did and believed. This is what got them to heaven. We too wish to save our souls, we wish to follow our ancestors in the faith and to be martyrs with them if necessary, like those who became martyrs in order to profess their faith.

Finally, we wish, because the Society has been the means of maintaining Tradition, we wish to maintain the ends of the Society and thus to keep the Church going, to keep the Church going in order to save souls, in order to give holy priests to the souls of the faithful who wait impatiently until they can again find true and holy priests.

There you have it, my dear friends, that is what the ceremonies and the Feast we celebrate today have to teach us. I would like you to find in the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the whole reason of your holiness, so that under the vigilance and protection of the of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, who so well understood the Mystery of the Cross, who lived the Mystery of the Cross with Our Lord Jesus Christ in an entirely unique way, with an infinite wisdom. Yes, we ask the Most Holy Virgin Mary to help us understand the profound Mystery of the Cross. There we find all the answers, my dear friends, all the answers.

Whenever in our lives problems arise, problems of all sorts, every possible and imaginable human problem, do not search anywhere but in the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ. There you will find the answer to the problems of each and every individual. Souls will come to confide in you, they will confide all kinds of problems to you. You will say to them always: look at the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, because in this Cross – which the Apostles taught, especially St. Paul – in this Cross is the answer to all problems, because the Cross is Charity, it is Love, love to the point of Sacrifice. All problems resolve themselves in Charity, Charity carried to the point of death if necessary.

Recently, during the Synod, I was in Rome and had the opportunity to meet with several cardinals who were discussing the problems of marriage, problems which seem today much more difficult than formerly – it would seem that problems were not found among married until today – I had the opportunity of saying to them: without sacrifice it is impossible to resolve the problems of marriage, and all other problems besides, not just these. But to exclude sacrifice from marriage is to exclude Christianity from marriage. It is useless to talk for weeks on end about the Christian family and exclude the idea of sacrifice. That is leaving out the real answer, leaving out the real remedy, and thus to remain without an answer.

When it comes to economic, social, political problems, problems of those in hospital beds, there is only one answer: the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is justice, such as Our Lord Jesus Christ realized on the Cross; to render to God that which is God's and to render to our neighbor what is our neighbor's. This is what Our Lord did on the Cross. There is no more beautiful act of love of God, no more beautiful act of love of neighbor, than that which Our Lord accomplished on the Cross. All problems resolve themselves in this Figure of the Cross, of Sacrifice.

There you have it, dear friends, what your program should be, the program of your seminary, the program of your priesthood. Thus you will truly be disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ, you will be truly what is said of a priest – what should be said of a priest: that a priest is another Christ.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

COVID-1984: Wales to Introduce Coronavirus Vaccine Passport Cards

Protesters with placards gather outside the Scottish Parliament entrance to demonstrate against new coronavirus restrictions, face covering rules and the search for a virus on October 10, 2020 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Breitbart | 2 Dec 2020

Chinese coronavirus vaccine passport cards will be issued by the government in Wales, the country’s left-wing health minister confirmed on Wednesday.

Following the announcement that the United Kingdom would be the first Western nation to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine, Welsh Health Minister Vaughan Gething declared that the government of Wales will be handing out credit card-sized vaccine passports to those who have received the jab.

In a statement, Mr Gething said: “Those receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will be given a credit card-sized NHS Wales immunisation card which will have the vaccine name, date of immunisation and batch number of each of the doses given handwritten on them.”

“These will act as a reminder for a second dose and for the type of vaccine, and it will also give information about how to report side effects,” he added.

The announcement comes amidst concerns that British businesses will begin requiring proof of vaccination as a condition of patrons entering their establishments after the UK’s new vaccine minister Nadim Zahawi said on Monday that venues may bar people from entering without an immunity passport.

The British government has reportedly been developing so-called “freedom passes” that would allow those who have tested negative for the Chinese virus a greater degree of liberty, including travelling without a mask and being able to visit their family members.

The nominally Conservative government of Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also been reported to be developing “vaccine stamps” for British passports for international travel to be introduced next year.

In response to the announcement that Wales will be adopting vaccination IDs, Conservative MP and former Secretary of State for Wales, David Jones told the Daily Mail that “it is not really surprising” given the “authoritarian” tendencies of the Welsh government during the pandemic.

“You would hope that these cards are not expected to be carried, and if people want to throw them away then they should be entitled to,” Jones said, adding: “We don’t want to get to the stage where government are requiring people to carry cards.”

Grey Collier of the human rights campaign group Liberty said: “Any form of immunity card raises more questions than it answers. It is currently unclear how these cards will be used, and whether people could be asked to use them to prove they have immunity.”

Collier said that the introduction of any such vaccine cards could be easily expanded by the government into fully-fledged immunity passports, explaining: “This could result in people who don’t have a card potentially being blocked from essential public services, work or housing – with the most marginalised among us hardest hit.”

On Monday, the British government announced that it has approved the coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, a remarkable achievement given vaccines can typically take years to produce and then approve.

According to Wales Online, some 40,000 injections will be delivered to Wales from Belgium in the first delivery to the UK, comprising of 800,000 jabs in total. The two-dose requirement will mean that some 20,000 people in Wales will be vaccinated during the initial rollout.

Mr Gething said that the vaccine will not be made mandatory in Wales, however, last month British Health Secretary Matt Hancock refused to rule out making coronavirus vaccines mandatory in the United Kingdom.

The Australian airline Qantas has already announced that an immunity passport would be required to travel on their aeroplanes, and if more businesses take up such requirements, a government mandate would be made irrelevant regardless.

MONDAY OF THE FIRST WEEK OF ADVENT
Regem venturum Dominum, venite, adoremus. Come, let us adore the King our Lord, who is to come.

[Image: ?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3...%3DApi&f=1]

Quote:De Isaia Propheta.

Cap. i
Lavamini, mundi estote, auferte maluni cogitationum vestrarum ab oculis meis: quiescite agere perverse, discite benefacere: quaerite judicium, subvenite oppresso, judicate pupillo, defendite viduam. Et venite, et arguite me, dicit Dominus. Si fuerint peccata vestra ut coccinum, quasi nix dealbabuntur: et si fuerint rubra quasi vermiculus, velut lana alba erunt.

From the Prophet Isaias.

Ch. i.
Wash yourselves, be clean, take away the evil of your devices from my eyes: cease to do perversely, learn to do well; seek judgement, relieve the oppressed, judge for the fatherless, defend the widow. And then come, and accuse me, saith the Lord. If your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow; and if they be red as crimson, they shall be white as wool.

The Saviour, who is so soon to be with us and to save us, warns us not only to prepare ourselves to appear before Him, but also to purify our souls. It is most just,’ says St. Bernard, ‘ that the soul, which was the first to fall, should be the first to rise. Let us therefore defer caring for the body, until the day when Jesus Christ will come and reform it by the Resurrection; for, in the first coming, the Precursor says to us: “Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sins of the world.” Observe, he says not the maladies of the body, nor the miseries of the flesh; he says sins, which are the malady of the soul, and the corruption of the spirit. Take heed, then, thou my body, and wait for thy turn and time* Thou canst hinder the salvation of the soul, and thine own safety is not within thy reach.

Let the soul labour for herself, and strive thou too to help her, for if thou sharest in her sufferings thou wilt share in her glory. Retard her perfection, and thou re-tardest thine own. Thou wilt not be regenerated until God. sees His own image restored in the soul. [Sixth Sermon of Advent.] Let us, then, purify our souls. Let us do the works of the spirit, not the deeds of the flesh. Our Saviour’s promise is most clear; He will turn the deep dye of our iniquities into the purest whiteness. He asks but one thing of us : that we sin no more. He says to us : Cease to do perversely, and then come and accuse Me, come and complain against Me, if I do not cleanse you. O Jesus ! we will not defer a single day of this holy season ; we accept, from this moment, the conditions Thou offerest us. We sincerely desire to make our peace with Thee ; to bring the flesh into subjection to our spirit, to make good all the injustice we have committed against our neighbour, and to hush, by the sighs of our heart-felt compunction, that voice of our sins which has so long cried to Thee for vengeance.

PROSE FOR THE TIME OF ADVENT
(Composed in the eleventh century, and taken from the ancient Roman-French missals)

Thou our eternal salvation, the never-failing light of the world.

Light everlasting and our true redemption.

Moved with compassion to see the human race perish by its idolatry offered to its very tempter.

Thou didst descend to these depths of our misery, yet not leaving thine own high throne above.

Then, by thy own gratuitous love, assuming our human nature,

Thou didst save all on earth that was lost.

Giving joy to this world.

Come, O Christ, purify our souls and bodies.

And make them thy own pure abode.

Justify us by thy first coming.

And in thy second, deliver us;

That so, when thou judgest all things, on the day of the great light,

We may be adorned with a spotless robe, and may follow thy footsteps wheresoever they are seen. Amen.

PRAYER FROM THE AMBROSIAN BREVIARY
(Second Sunday of Advent)

O almighty God! grant, we beseech thee, unto all this thy family, the desire of meeting, by good works, thy Son, Christ our Lord, who is coming to us; that being placed on his right hand, we may deserve the possession of the heavenly kingdom. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prophecies of St. Hildegard of Bingen
Posted by: Elizabeth - 12-02-2020, 06:19 PM - Forum: Catholic Prophecy - Replies (1)

This biography of St. Hildegard of Bingen is taken from the series of books called: l'Histoire Universelle de l'Église Catholic (Universal History of the Catholic Church) by Fr. René François Rohrbacher. The parts come from Volumes 15, pages 502 and 503, and Volume 16, page 338. I just translated the pieces and stuck them together.

Biography of St. Hildegard of Bingen

Saint Hildegard was born in the county of Sponheim (Germany), in the year 1098, of noble and virtuous parents, who devoted her to the service of God from her childhood, because, as soon as she could speak, she made it known, both by her discourses and by signs, that she saw extraordinary things. At the age of eight, she was offered to the monastery of Disemberg or Mount St. Disibodus, and placed under the guidance of Blessed Jutta or Judith, sister of the Count of Sponheim, who led the life of a recluse, and who trained her in humility, innocence, and simply taught her to read the Psalter. From the age of eight to fifteen, Hildegard continued to see many things supernaturally, which she spoke of with simplicity to her companions, who were amazed, as well as to those who knew about it. One admired where this could have come from. Then Hildegard herself noticed with surprise that, while she could see inwardly into her soul, she could also see outwardly through her body's eyes, as usual, something she had never heard said about anyone. From then on, seized by fear, she did not dare to speak to anyone about her inner light. However, in her discourses, she often spoke of things to come, which seemed strange to the listeners. She saw and heard these things, not in a dream, not in sleep, not in a state of exaltation, not through the eyes of the body, or through the ears of the outer man; but she received them, wide awake, looking into her soul alone, through the eyes and ears of the inner man, and in the most open places, as it pleased God.
At the age of forty-two years seven months, she saw the heavens open and a very luminous fire, which penetrated her head, heart, and all her breast, without burning it, but with gentle heat, and at once she received the understanding of the Psalms, the Gospels, and the other books of the Old and New Testament, so that she was able to explain their meaning, though she could not explain the words grammatically, knowing neither Latin nor grammar.
Saint Hildegard performed an infinity of miracles, of which her contemporary biographer reports up to twenty in particular. She died on the 17th of September 1179, on the night of Sunday to Monday, aged eighty. Her life was written by Theodoric, a Benedictine monk, some thirty years after her death, on the memoirs of another monk named Godfrey, to which he added revelations and miracles. The Church honors the saint on the day of her death.

St. Hildegard's visions and prophecies were approved by Pope Eugenius III. Some of her prophecies can be found in her book "Scivias", which is also known as "Know the Ways". I will posting her prophecies that I found at this site https://catholicprophecy.org/st-hildegard/

The following two quotes are taken from the series of l'Histoire Universelle de l'Église Catholic (Universal History of the Catholic Church) by Fr. René François Rohrbacher. Volume 15, page 507, and Volume 16, page 336.

"She was among women what St. Bernard was among men."

"Germany, in the midst of the troubles of the schism, continued to admire in St. Hildegard the gift of prophecy and miracles, already recognized by St. Bernard, as well as by Popes Eugene III, Anastasius IV and Adrien IV."

St. Hildegard's Prophecies

“The time is coming when princes and people will renounce the authority of the Pope. Individual countries will prefer their own Church rulers to the Pope. The German Empire will be divided. Church property will be secularized. Priests will be persecuted. After the birth of Antichrist heretics will preach their false doctrines undisturbed, resulting in Christians having doubts about their holy Catholic faith.”

“Toward the end of the world, mankind will be purified through sufferings. This will be true especially of the clergy, who will be robbed of all property. When the clergy has adopted a simple manner of living, conditions will improve.

“A powerful wind will rise in the North carrying heavy fog and the densest dust by divine command and it will fill their throats and eyes so they will cease their savagery and be stricken with great fear. After that there will be so few men left that seven women will fight for one man, that they will say to the man: “Marry me to take the disgrace from me.” For in those days it will be a disgrace for a woman to be without child, as it was by the Jews in the Old Testament.

“Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scoured with want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent by an earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be devastated. It will be divided, and in great part submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the east through a Tiger and a Lion. The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. All coastal cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease. For in none of these cities does a person live according to the laws of God.

“Peace will return to Europe when the white flower again takes possession of the throne of France. During this time of peace the people will be forbidden to carry weapons and iron will be used solely for making agricultural implements and tools. Also during this period the soil will be very productive and many Jews, heathens and heretics will join the Church."

"When society has been completely purified by these tribulations, men will submit to the laws of the Church.

"At that time of renewal, justice and peace will be restored by decrees so new and so little expected that the people, delighted with admiration, will highly confess that nothing like this has ever been seen before."

“The son of perdition (the Antichrist), who will reign very few of times, will come at the end day of the duration of the world, at the times corresponding to the moment just before the sun disappears from the horizon…

“After having passed a licentious youth among very perverted men, and in a desert, she being conducted by a demon disguised as an angel of light, the mother of the son of perdition will conceive and give birth without knowing the father. In another land, she will make men believe that her birth was some miraculous thing, seeing that she had not appointed a spouse, and she will ignore that, she will say, how the infant she had brought into the world had been formed in her womb, and the people will regard it as a saint and qualified to the title.

“The son of perdition is this very wicked beast who will put to death those who refuse to believe in him; who will associate with kings, priests, the great and the rich; who will mistake the humility and will esteem pride; who will finally subjugate the entire universe by his diabolic means.

“He will gain over many people and tell them: “You are allowed to do all that you please; renounce the fasts; it suffices that you love me; I who am your God.”

“He will show them treasures and riches, and he will permit them to riot in all sorts of festivities, as they please. He will oblige them to practice circumcision and other Judaic observances, and he will tell them: “Those who believe in me will receive pardon of their sins and will live with me eternally.”

“He will reject baptism and evangelism, and he will reject in derision all the precepts the Spirit has given to men of my part."

“Then he will say to his partisans, “Strike me with a sword, and place my corpse in a proper shroud until the day of my resurrection.” They will believe him to have really given over to death, and from his mortal wound he will make a striking semblance of resuscitation.

“After which, he will compose himself a certain cipher, which he will say is to be a pledge of salute; he will give it to all his servitors like the sign of our faith in heaven, and he will command them to adore it. Concerning those who, for the love of my (Jesus’) name, will refuse to render this sacrilegious adoration to the son of perdition, he will put them to death amidst the cruelest torments.

“But I will defend my two Witnesses, Enoch and Elias, whom I have reserved for those times. Their mission will be to combat the man of evil and reprimand him in the sight of the faithful whom he has seduced. They will have the virtue of operating the most brilliant miracles, in all the places where the son of perdition has spread his evil doctrines. In the meanwhile, I will permit this evildoer to put them to death; but I will give them in heaven the recompense of their travails.

“Later, however, after the coming of Enoch and Elias, the Antichrist will be destroyed, and the Church will sing forth with unprecedented glory, and the victims of the great error will throng to return to the fold.”

“The Man of Sin will be born of an ungodly woman who, from her infancy, will have been initiated into occult sciences and the wiles of the demon. She will live in the desert with perverse men, and abandon herself to crime with so much the greater ardor, as she will think she is authorized thereby to by the revelations of an angel. And thus, in the fire of burning concupiscence she will conceive the Son of Perdition, without knowing by what father. Then she will teach that fornication is permitted, declaring herself holy and honored as a saint.

“But Lucifer, the old and cunning serpent, will find the fruit of her womb with his infernal spirit and entirely possess the fruit of sin.

“Now when he shall have attained the age of manhood, he will set himself up as a new master and teach perverse doctrine. Soon he will revolt against the saints; and he will acquire such great power that in the madness of his pride he would raise himself above the clouds; and as in the beginning Satan said: “I will be like unto the most high”, and fell; so in those days, he will fall when he will say in the person of his son, “I am the Savior of the World!”

“He will ally himself with the kings, the princes and the powerful ones of the earth; he will condemn humility and will extol all the doctrines of pride. His magic art will feign the most astonishing prodigies; he will disturb the atmosphere, command thunder and tempest, produce hail and horrible lightning. He will move mountains, dry up streams, reanimate the withered verdure of forests. His arts will be practiced upon the elements, but chiefly upon man will he exhaust his infernal power. He will seem to take away health and restore it. How so? By sending some possessed soul into a dead body, to move it for a time. But these resurrections will be of short duration."

  Old Testament Prophecies
Posted by: Elizabeth - 12-02-2020, 06:16 PM - Forum: Catholic Prophecy - No Replies

I didn't realize that the Old Testament had all of these prophecies, I only read about them recently in the book: "The Prophets and Our Times" by Rev. R. Gerald Culleton, which is still available from Tan. These prophecies are found in the book at pages 85-87. It is the Douay-Rheims Bible.

If you read the prophecies of the Saints, Marie-Julie Jahenny, Our Lady, etc. you will see that their prophecies are in perfect accordance with those of the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament.

Here are a couple of quotes from the Bible and St. Thomas Aquinas that Fr. Culleton put on the very first page of his book:

"And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And upon my servants indeed, and upon my handmaids will I pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy." (Acts 2:17-18)

"In all ages men have been divinely instructed in matters expedient for the salvation of the elect . . . and in all ages there have been persons possessed of the spirit of prophesy, not for the purpose of announcing new doctrines, but to direct human actions."

(St. Thomas Aquinas: Summa: 2:2:174:Res. et ad 3)

Prophecies from the Old Testament:

"And yet for all that when they were in the land of their enemies, I did not cast them off altogether, neither did I so despise them that they should be quite consumed, and I should make void my covenant with them. For I am the Lord their God." (Lev. 26:44)

"After all the things aforesaid shall and thee, in the latter time thou shalt return to the Lord thy God, and shalt hear his voice. Because the Lord thy God is a merciful God: he will not leave thee, nor altogether destroy thee, nor forget the covenant, by which he swore to thy fathers." (Deut. 4:30-31)

"If there rise in the midst of thee a prophet or one that saith he hath dreamed a dream, and he foretell a sign and a wonder, and that come to pass which he spoke, and he say to thee: Let us go and follow strange gods, which thou knowest not, and let us serve them: Thou shalt not hear the words of that prophet or dreamer: for the Lord your God trieth you, that it may appear whether you love him with all your heart, and with all your soul, or not. " (Deut. 13:1-3)

"At that time there shall be no peace to him that goeth out and cometh in, but terrors on every side among all the inhabitants of the earth.
For nation shall fight against nation, and city against city, for the Lord will trouble them with all distress." (2 Par. 15:5-6)

"Why have the Gentiles raged, and the people devised vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the princes met together, against the Lord and against his Christ. Let us break their bonds asunder: and let us cast away their yoke from us. He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh at them: and the Lord shall deride them. Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his rage." (Ps. 2:1-5)

"O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?" (Ps. 4:3)

Understanding for Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off unto the end: why is thy wrath enkindled against the sheep of thy pasture?  Remember thy congregation, which thou hast possessed from the beginning. The sceptre of thy inheritance which thou hast redeemed: mount Sion in which thou hast dwelt. Lift up thy hands against their pride unto the end; see what things the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. And they that hate thee have made their boasts, in the midst of thy solemnity. They have set up their ensigns for signs, And they knew not both in the going out and on the highest top. As with axes in a wood of trees, They have cut down at once the gates thereof, with axe and hatchet they have brought it down. They have set fire to thy sanctuary: they have defiled the dwelling place of thy name on the earth. They said in their heart, the whole kindred of them together: Let us abolish all the festival days of God from the land. (ps. 73:1-8)

"And it was not enough for them to err about the knowledge of God, but whereas they lived in a great war of ignorance, they call so many and so great evils peace. For either they sacrifice their own children, or use hidden sacrifices, or keep watches full of madness, so that now they neither keep life, nor marriage undefiled, but one killeth another through envy, or grieveth him by adultery: And all things are mingled together, blood, murder, theft and dissimulation, corruption and unfaithfulness, tumults and perjury, disquieting of the good, forgetfulness of God, defiling of souls, changing of nature, disorder in marriage, and the irregularity of adultery and uncleanness. For the worship of abominable idols is the cause, and the beginning and end of all evil. [28] For either they are mad when they are merry: or they prophesy lies, or they live unjustly, or easily forswear themselves. For whilst they trust in idols, which are without life, though they swear amiss, they look not to be hurt. But for two things they shall be justly punished, because they have thought not well of God, giving heed to idols, and have sworn unjustly, in guile despising justice. For it is not the power of them, by whom they swear, but the just vengeance of sinners always punisheth the transgression of the unjust." (PsWis. 14:22-31)

"The destruction of Ninive is at hand: for the word of the Lord must be fulfilled: and our brethren, that are scattered abroad from the land of Israel, shall return to it. [7] And all the land thereof that is desert shall be filled with people, and the house of God which is burnt in it, shall again be rebuilt: and all that fear God shall return thither."(Tob. 14:6-7)

"Who art registered in the judgments of times to appease the wrath of the Lord, to reconcile the heart of the father to the son, and to restore the tribes of Jacob" (Ecclus. 48:10)

"[2] And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. [3] And many people shall go, and say: Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall come forth from Sion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. [4] And he shall judge the Gentiles, and rebuke many people: and they shall turn their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into sickles: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they be exercised any more to war."(Is. 2:2-4)

[2] "The last days": The whole time of the new law, from the coming of Christ till the end of the world, is called in the scripture the last days; because no other age or time shall come after it, but only eternity.-- Ibid.

[2] "On the top of mountains": This shews the perpetual visibility of the church of Christ: for a mountain upon the top of mountains cannot be hid.

"And the people shall rush one upon another, and every man against his neighbour: the child shall make it tumult against the ancient, and the base against the honourable." (Is. 3:5)

"Behold the Lord shall lay waste the earth, and shall strip it, and shall afflict the face thereof, and scatter abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be as with the people, so with the priest: and as with the servant, so with his master: as with the handmaid, so with her mistress: as with the buyer, so with the seller: as with the lender, so with the borrower: as with him that calleth for his money, so with him that oweth. With desolation shall the earth be laid waste, and it shall be utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. The earth mourned, and faded away, and is weakened: the world faded away, the height of the people of the earth is weakened. And the earth is infected by the inhabitants thereof: because they have transgressed the laws, they have changed the ordinance, they have broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore shall a curse devour the earth, and the inhabitants thereof shall sin: and therefore they that dwell therein shall be mad, and few men shall be left. The vintage hath mourned, the vine hath languished away, all the merryhearted have sighed. The mirth of timbrels hath ceased, the noise of them that rejoice is ended, the melody of the harp is silent. They shall not drink wine with a song: the drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. The city of vanity is broken down, every house is shut up, no man cometh in. There shall be a crying for wine in the streets: all mirth is forsaken: the joy of the earth is gone away. Desolation is left in the city, and calamity shall oppress the gates. For it shall be thus in the midst of the earth, in the midst of the people, as if a few olives, that remain, should be shaken out of the olive tree: or grapes, when the vintage is ended." (Is. 24:1-13)

"Fear, and the pit, and the snare are upon thee, O thou inhabitant of the earth." (Is. 24:17)

"Now therefore go in and write for them upon box, and note it diligently in a book, and it shall be in the latter days for a testimony for ever.  For it is a people that provoketh to wrath, and lying children, children that will not hear the law of God. Who say to the seers: See not: and to them that behold: Behold not for us those things that are right: speak unto us pleasant things, see errors for us. Take away from me the way, turn away the path from me, let the Holy One of Israel cease from before us. Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: Because you have rejected this word, and have trusted in oppression and tumult, and have leaned upon it: Therefore shall this iniquity be to you as a breach that falleth, and is found wanting in a high wall, for the destruction thereof shall come on a sudden, when it is not looked for." (Is. 30:8-13)

"And now what have I here, saith the Lord: for my people is taken away gratis. They that rule over them treat them unjustly, saith the Lord, and my name is continually blasphemed all the day long." (Is. 52:5)

"In sinning and lying against the Lord: and we have turned away so that we went not after our God, but spoke calumny and transgression: we have conceived, and uttered from the heart, words of falsehood. [14] And judgment is turned away backward, and justice hath stood far off: because truth hath fallen down in the street, and equity could not come in. [15] And truth hath been forgotten: and he that departed from evil, lay open to be a prey: and the Lord saw, and it appeared evil in his eyes, because there is no judgment." (Is. 59:13-15)

"For from the least of them even to the greatest, all are given to covetousness: and from the prophet even to the priest, all are guilty of deceit. And they healed the breach of the daughter of my people disgracefully, saying: Peace, peace: and there was no peace. " (Jer. 6:13-14)

"And the Lord said to me: The prophets prophesy falsely in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, nor have I spoken to them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination and deceit, and the seduction of their own heart." (Jer. 14:14)

"I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, and say: I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, and that prophesy the delusions of their own heart? Who seek to make my people forget my name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbour: as their fathers forgot my name for Baal." (Jer. 23:36-37)

"Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold evil shall go forth from nation to nation: and a great whirlwind shall go forth from the ends of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end thereof: they shall not be lamented, and they shall not be gathered up, nor buried: they shall lie as dung upon the face of the earth. Howl, ye shepherds, and cry: and sprinkle yourselves with ashes, ye leaders of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and your dispersion are accomplished, and you shall fall like precious vessels. And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to save themselves. A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the principal of the flock: because the Lord hath wasted their pastures. And the fields of peace have been silent, because of the fierce anger of the Lord. He has forsaken his covert as the lion, for the land is laid waste because of the wrath of the dove, and because of the fierce anger of the Lord." (Jer. 25:32-38)

"The dove": This is commonly understood of Nabuchodonosor, whose military standard, it is said, was a dove. But the Hebrew word Jonah, which is here rendered a dove, may also signify a waster or oppressor, which name better agrees to that unmerciful prince; or by comparison, as a dove's flight is the swiftest, so would their destruction come upon them.

"Hearken not to the words of the prophets that say to you: You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they tell you a lie. For I have not sent them, saith the Lord: and they prophesy in my name falsely: to drive you out, and that you may perish, both you, and the prophets that prophesy to you." (Jer. 29:8-9)

"For there shall be a day, in which the watchmen on mount Ephraim, shall cry: Arise, and let us go up to Sion to the Lord our God. For thus saith the Lord: Rejoice ye in the joy of Jacob, and neigh before the head of the Gentiles: shout ye, and sing, and say: Save, O Lord, thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold I will bring them from the north country, and will gather them from the ends of the earth: and among them shall be the blind, and the lame, the woman with child, and she that is bringing forth, together, a great company of them returning hither. They shall come with weeping: and I will bring them back in mercy: and I will bring them through the torrents of waters in a right way, and they shall not stumble in it: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the islands that are afar off, and say: He that scattered Israel will gather him: and he will keep him as the shepherd doth his flock. For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and delivered him out of the hand of one that was mightier than he. And they shall come, and shall give praise in mount Sion: and they shall flow together to the good things of the Lord, for the corn, and wine, and oil, and the increase of cattle and herds, and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they shall be hungry no more. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, the young men and old men together: and I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them joyful after their sorrow. And I will fill the soul of the priests with fatness: and my people shall be filled with my good things, saith the Lord." (Jer. 31:6-14)

"Every man is become foolish by his knowledge: every founder is confounded by his idol, for what he hath cast is a lie, and there is no breath in them. [18] They are vain works, and worthy to be laughed at, in the time of their visitation they shall perish." (Jer. 51:17-18)

"And with thee I will break in pieces the horse, and his rider, and with thee I will break in pieces the chariot, and him that getteth up into it: And with thee I will break in pieces man and woman, and with thee I will break in pieces the old man and the child, and with thee I will break in pieces the young man and the virgin: And with thee I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock, and with thee I will break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen, and with thee I will break in pieces captains and rulers." (Jer. 5120-23)

"Behold I come against thee, thou destroying mountain, saith the Lord, which corruptest the whole earth: and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and will roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain." (Jer. 51:25)

Blessed Catherine of Raccogini (1486-1574)

"There is no complete or perfect Council before the time of the coming of this Holy Pontiff whom we await for the future renewal of the Holy Church.”

St. Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179)

"When society has been completely purified by these tribulations, men will submit to the laws of the Church.

"At that time of renewal, justice and peace will be restored by decrees so new and so little expected that the people, delighted with admiration, will highly confess that nothing like this has ever been seen before."

  The Great Monarch Prophecies
Posted by: Elizabeth - 12-02-2020, 06:10 PM - Forum: Catholic Prophecy - Replies (8)

I found these prophecies on the Great Monarch from this link: https://sacredheartsoldier.wordpress.com...rophecies/

Please note: the part where the person, who put these prophecies all in one place (the prophecies on the site are accurate), talks about how King Philip of France thought he was the Great Monarch and that he planned to kill the Pope and the Knights Templar is incorrect. King Philip never thought that he was the Great Monarch and the Knights Templar were disbanded by Pope Clement V because upon entering the order they were told and forced to renounce Jesus Christ, stepped on the Cross of Our Lord, didn't say the words of consecration at the Mass, and many other things that are terrible, some of which could not be repeated. There were some good knight Templars, but the pope felt that the order needed to be taken apart due to these terrible things. All this information that I got on King Philip and the Knights Templar come from the book series: l'Histoire Universel de l'Église Catholique (Universal History of the Catholic Church) by Fr. René François Rohrbacher, Volumes 19 and 20. Fr. Rohrbacher also mentioned that there are many history books on the Knights Templar that are inaccurate.

If anyone would like to know more details about the Knights Templar and/or King Philip of France, please feel free to message me.

Hyppolitus (235 AD)

”The Great French Monarch, who shall subject all the East, shall come around the end of the world …. “

St. Methodius (385 AD)

“A time will come when the enemies of Christ will boast: ‘We have subjected the earth and all its inhabitants, and the Christians cannot escape our hands: Then a Roman Emperor will rise in great fury against them, drawing his sword, he will fall upon the foes of Christianity and crush them. Then peace and quiet will reign on earth, and the priests will he relieved of all their anxieties.”

St. Cataldus of Tatentino (500 AD)

”The Great Monarch will be in war till he is forty years of age; a King of the House of Lily, he will assemble great armies and expel tyrants from his empire. He will conquer England and other Island empires. Greece he will invade and he made King thereof, Clochis, Cyprus, the Turks, and barbarians he will subdue and have all men to worship the Crucified one. He will at length lay down his crown in Jerusalem.”

St. Remigius (535 AD)

”The kingdom of France is predestined by God for the defense of the Roman Church, which is the only true Church of Christ. This Kingdom shall one day be great among the kingdoms of the earth, and shall embrace all the limits of the Roman Empire, and shall submit all their kingdoms to its own scepter. It shall last until the end of time. It shall be victorious and prosperous as long as it will remain faithful to the Holy Roman See, and will not be guilty of any of those crimes which ruin nations; but it shall be rudely punished every time that it will become unfaithful to its vocation.”

St. Caesar of Aries (469 AD)

“When the entire world, and in a special manner France, and in France more particularly the provinces of the North, of the east, and above all, that of Lorraine and Champagne, shall have been a prey to the greatest miseries and trials, then the provinces shall be succored by a prince, who had been exiled in his youth, and who shall recover the crown of the lilies.

“This prince shall extend his dominion over the entire universe. At the same time there will be a great Pope, who will be most eminent in sanctity and most perfect in every quality. This Pope shall have with him, the Great Monarch, a most virtuous man, who shall be a scion of the holy race of the French Kings. This Great Monarch will assist the Pope in the reformation of the whole earth. Many princes and nations that are living in error and impiety shall be converted, and an admirable peace shall be appeased through their repentance, penance, and good works. There will be one common law, one only faith, one baptism, one religion, All nations shall recognize the Holy See of Rome, and shall pay homage to the Pope. But after some considerable time, fervor shall cool, iniquity shall abound, and moral corruption shall become worse than ever, which shall bring upon mankind the last and worse persecution of Anti-Christ, and then the end of the world.”

Monk Adso (992 AD)

“Some of our teachers say that a King of the Franks will possess the entire Roman Empire. This King will be the greatest and last of all monarchs, and after having prosperously governed his kingdom. He will come in the end to Jerusalem and he will lay down his scepter and his crown upon the Mount of Olives. This will be the end and consummation of the Empire of Rome, and immediately afterwards Anti-Christ will come.”

Blessed Catherine of Racconigi ( 1547 AD)

“After three centuries, a descendant of Frances I of France will rule Europe like Charlemagne.”

Ven. Holzhauser ( 1658 AD)

“When everything has been ruined by war; when Catholics are hard pressed by traitorous co-religionists and heretics, when the Church and her servants are denied their rights, the monarchies have been abolished and their rulers murdered, (1922) then the Hand of Almighty God will work a marvelous change, something apparently impossible according to human understanding. There will arise a VALIANT MONARCH anointed by God. He will he a Catholic, a descendant of Louis IX, yet, a descendant of an ancient imperial German family, born in exile. He will rule supreme in temporal matters. The Pope will rule supreme in spiritual matters at the same time. Persecution will cease and justice shall reign. Religion seems to be oppressed, but by the changes of entire kingdoms it will be made more firm.

“He will root out false doctrines and destroy the rule of Muslimism. His dominion will extend from the East to the West. All nations will adore God their Lord according to Catholic teaching. There will be many wise and just men. The people will love justice, and peace will reign over the whole earth, for divine power will bind Satan for many years until the coming of the Son of Perdition-(the Antichrist) ….. “

I saw him at night kneeling alone at the foot of the main altar in a great and beautiful church . . . and I saw the Blessed Virgin coming down all alone. She laid on the altar a red cloth covered with white linen. She placed a book inlaid with precious stones. She lit the candles and the perpetual lamp . . . Then came down the Savior Himself clad in priestly vestments. He was carrying the chalice and the veil. Two Angels were serving Him and two more were following . . . His chasuble was a full and heavy mantle in which red and white could be seen in transparency, and gleaming with jewels . . . Although there was no altar bell, the cruets were there. The wine was red as blood, and there was also some water. The Mass was short. The Gospel of St. John was not read at the end. When the Mass has ended, Mary came up to Henry (the Emperor), and she extended her right hand towards him, saying that it was in recognition of his purity. Then, she urged him not to falter. Thereupon I saw an angel, and he touched the sinew of his hip, like Jacob. He (Henry) was in great pain, and from that day on, he walked with a limp . . . “

Our Lady's Triumph through the Great Monarch

Ecstasy dated May 23, 1874

Our Lady to Marie-Julie: "I will upset, I will overthrow the band of wicked and ungodly. I will triumph with the just and devout souls. Yes, I will confound the earth that I will bring to the feet of the just one, the man who is to rule the land of France. (i.e. the Great Catholic Monarch) The time is terrible, but I will protect you.”

This message of Our Lady fits perfectly with the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart.

St. Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419)

"Armies from the West, East, and North will fight together in Italy, and the Eagle shall capture the false king, and all things shall be made obedient unto him, and there shall be a new reformation in the world.”

" In the days of peace that are to come after the desolation of revolutions and wars, before the end of the world Christians will become so lax in their religion that they will refuse the sacrament of Confirmation, saying that it is unnecessary. And when the false prophet, the precursor of Antichrist, comes, all who are not confirmed will apostatize, while those who are confirmed will stand fast in their faith, and only a few will renounce Christ.”

Saint Barbara
Virgin and Martyr
(† 235)

Saint Barbara was brought up by a pagan father, Dioscorus. With the intention of protecting her beauty, he kept her jealously secluded in a lonely but very luxurious tower which he built for that purpose; for in his own way he loved her. In her forced solitude, this very gifted young girl undertook to study religion, and soon saw clearly all the vices and absurdities of paganism; her clear mind realized that there could be only one supreme Creator-God, and that He is entitled to the worship of His reasonable creatures. Divine Providence by its wonderful ways contrived to obtain for her the means to send a message to Origen, the famous exegete, asking for knowledge of the Christian faith. That teacher of Alexandria immediately sent to her, at Nicomedia, a disciple named Valentinian. Soon she was baptized, and Our Lord appeared to her, as He would appear to others such as Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Teresa of Avila, to tell her He had chosen her to be His spouse. Saint Barbara, rejoicing, hoped to be able to communicate her precious new faith to her father, but would soon discover that hope was vain.

When she was of an age to marry, many requests for her hand came to her wealthy father. She was his only heiress, and he rejected her expressed wish not to accept any such offer, although she said she wished to remain his consolation for his declining years. When she continued to refuse every suitor's demands, and when Dioscorus returned from a journey to find all the idols he had placed in her tower broken in pieces and scattered about, he was furious. Discovering his daughter's conversion, he was beside himself with rage. She escaped and dwelt for a time in a cavern, where she was concealed by the vegetation growing at the entrance. But finally her father's threats of chastisement, which he made known during his searches, for anyone who might be concealing her, caused some local shepherds who knew of her whereabouts, to reveal her retreat.
Her father denounced her to the civil tribunal, and Barbara was horribly tortured twice, and finally beheaded.

Her own father, merciless to the last, asked to deal her the fatal blow himself. God, however, speedily punished her persecutors. While her soul was being borne by the Angels to Paradise, a flash of lightning struck Dioscorus and Marcian, the civil prefect, and both were summoned in haste to the judgment-seat of God.
Saint Barbara is beloved of the Spanish-speaking peoples. She is the special protectress of the region of Metz in France, where a magnificent church, later destroyed, was built in her honor in the 1500's. She is invoked against sudden and unprovided death, and invariably answers all requests for the favor of receiving the Last Sacraments. A famous instance of her intervention on behalf of a Saint who was on the verge of death, can be read in the life of Saint Stanislaus Kostka.

Saint Francis Xavier
Jesuit Missionary to the Orient
(1506-1552)

A young Spanish gentleman, in the dangerous days of the Reformation, was making a name for himself as a professor of philosophy at the University of Paris. He was aspiring, apparently, to a high dignity, until Saint Ignatius of Loyola decided to undertake the spiritual conquest of this ardent soul. What does it profit a man to gain the entire world, if he suffers the loss of his soul? Ignatius often repeated to the brilliant teacher. The words of Christ, joined to the example of Ignatius and his disciples, prevailed. It was not long before his gifted friend decided to labor for the glory of God, by adopting the evangelical life of an apostle, to which he was indeed called. He was among the first five members of the Society of Jesus, those who with Ignatius made their religious vows in the church of Montmartre in Paris, on the feast of the Assumption in 1534.

On his way to Rome with the others, handicapped by severe penances he had imposed on himself, he remained in Venice and exercised a brief apostolate by caring for the sick in the city hospital. The others waited for him to regain his ability to walk. These first fervent Jesuits were intending to embark for the Holy Land, but were prevented by a war. In Rome, Francis again went to a hospital to serve the sick; he also visited the prisons to encourage and console the poor inmates, while preparing for ordination with the others, according to the desire of the pope.

Saint Ignatius having remained in Venice, the other five returned there afterwards. Francis was sent by Saint Ignatius to the Orient in 1534, where for twelve years he labored unceasingly to win souls, sleeping only three hours a night, eating very little, and bearing the Gospel to Hindustan, to Malacca, and as far as Japan. At all times thwarted by jealousy, covetousness, and the carelessness of those who should have helped and encouraged him, he did not slacken in his apostolic endeavors despite opposition and the difficulties of every sort which he encountered. The gift of tongues and miracles accompanied him everywhere; he resurrected several dead persons. And his inexhaustible kindness was not the least of his assets in winning thousands of pagans to the Faith. He baptized so many that his arm became virtually disabled, ten thousand in a single month in the kingdom of Trevancor, where in the same space of time he saw to the building of forty-five churches. At Meliapour, site of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas, he found the marble on which the Apostle was sacrificed, and which exuded blood the first time Mass was said upon it. Passing through various islands, cities and provinces of India, he strengthened his first conquests by additional preaching. He planted crosses in the public squares and overcame all obstacles.
From India he went to Japan; Saint Francis is called Apostle of Japan as well as of India. There the pagan priests opposed and calumniated him, and tried without success to outwit him in debates. Humiliated, they used subtle means to instill dislike for him in the minds of the court authorities. But he won the love as well as the respect of those he evangelized, blessing them with such miracles as filling the hitherto sterile sea of Cangoxima with inexhaustible reserves of fish. The vast kingdom of China appealed to his charity, and he was resolved to risk his life to force an entry, when God took him to Himself. It was on December 2, 1552, that the Apostle of the Indies died on Sancian, an island facing the city of Canton in China, like Moses, in sight of the land of promise.

Immaculate Conception: Pope Francis cancels traditional act of veneration due to pandemic

Vatican City, Nov 30, 2020 / 12:00 pm MT (CNA).- The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis will not visit Rome’s Piazza di Spagna this year for the traditional veneration of Mary on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception due to the pandemic.

Instead, Francis will mark the feast day with “an act of private devotion, entrusting the city of Rome, its inhabitants and the many sick people in every part of the world to Our Lady,” Holy See press office director Matteo Bruni said.

It will be the first time since 1953 that the pope has not offered the traditional veneration of the statue of the Immaculate Conception on the Dec. 8 feast. Bruni said that Francis would not go to the square in order to avoid people gathering and transmitting the virus.

The statue of the Immaculate Conception, next to Piazza di Spagna, sits atop a nearly 40-foot high column. It was dedicated Dec. 8, 1857, three years after Pope Pius IX promulgated a decree defining the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

Since 1953, it has been a custom for popes to venerate the statue for the feast day, in honor of the city of Rome. Pope Pius XII was the first to do so, walking nearly two miles on foot from the Vatican.

Rome’s firefighters are usually in attendance at the prayer, in honor of their role at the 1857 inauguration of the statue. The mayor of Rome and other officials also attend.

In past years, Pope Francis left floral wreaths for the Virgin Mary, one of which was placed on the outstretched arm of the statue by firefighters. The pope also offered an original prayer for the feast day.

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a national holiday in Italy and crowds usually gather at the square to witness the veneration.

As is customary for Marian solemnities, Pope Francis will still lead the Angelus prayer from a window overlooking St. Peter’s Square Dec. 8.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Vatican’s papal Christmas liturgies will take place this year without the presence of the public.
