Not only was the matter changed for confirmation but also the words. One change is sufficient to cast doubt but the conciliar-SSPX accepts both changes. But since when? The SSPX doesn't say. We know when the Archbishop was alive the SSPX did not accept the new sacraments. But as Fr. Robinson and the new-SSPX now say, they accept the new sacraments. How easy it is for the SSPX to change something so important as sacraments and so many blind faithful don't even care! If it were their job or something more meaningful in their life, they would care. If their job description said one thing one day and suddenly one day it said something different they would and should ask why and how does this affect me?
When someone decides to change a sacrament, especially the form & matter that makes the sacrament null & void, Catholics have a right to question. We have the written words of Archp Lefebvre who said the N.O. changes in confirmation meant the confirmations had to be redone conditionally. WHO specifically in the SSPX decided differently and WHEN? Most importantly, WHY?
