Francis’ Health Problem Concerns Something Else

The word in the Roman Curia is that Francis' death is "a matter of days or weeks" or "a few months at the most”, writes Caminante-Wanderer.Blogspot.com (March 29).

"The seriousness of his illness is an open secret and has already been commented on in various places [colon cancer].”

Holy Week will be without him. Cardinals Re (Palm Sunday; Easter Vigil), De Donatis (Chrism Mass) and Gambetti (Good Friday) will replace him.

Caminante notes the "astonishing inability of the Holy See's press team to handle situations of this kind.” First, it was claimed that Francis was in hospital for scheduled health checks, then that it was a heart problem, now it is a respiratory issue.

According to Caminante, the problem is an intestinal obstruction, which he describes as "predictable given the terminal nature of his illness."

Caminante hopes that the Francis’ faction will be ousted at the next conclave. For example, the anti-Catholic European Episcopate elected on March 23 Latina Bishop Mariano Crociata, Italy, as its president, a move that was "not well received" by Francis.

Crociata had been appointed by Benedict XVI as secretary of the Italian bishops, a prelude to the cardinalate. But Bergoglio removed Crociata and sent him back to "his humble see.”
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Abp. Lefebvre
