IGNATIAN RETREATS 2023
Fr. Hewko is planning again to hold Ignatian Retreats (a week for the men and a week for the women) this year. The dates are as follows:
- Women’s Retreat will be Monday, June 26th (beginning at 12:30 PM) through Saturday, July 1st (ending after lunch).
- Men’s Retreat will be Monday, July 3rd (beginning at 12:30 PM) through Saturday, July 8th (ending after lunch).
The venue will be the same as last year - at the Red Rock Guest Ranch in Soldier, Kansas, USA.
More details to follow.
May many graces flow from these powerful retreats!
Please contact Mr. Tim Cline at sspxmariancorps@gmail.com or 770-820-6476 with any questions.
*Fr. Hewko is also asking for generous souls to assist with the cooking for any portion of time during those two weeks!
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Abp. Hello! & Fyi,
A few more generous souls are needed to help support Frs. Hewko & Ruiz's retreats this summer. The Men's retreats are fully covered, Deo gratias!
However, several volunteers are still needed for the Women's Retreat ( June 26th - July1st ). Please see the list below...
Airport Drivers needed for the following 2 days. **This may or may not involve 2 or 3 trips to the airport in one day, possibly late at night & very early in the morning**
Sunday, June 25th
Saturday, July 1st
Grocery Runners needed, at the most, every other day from June 26th - June 30th, picking up groceries (list prepared & provided) from either Holton (20 minutes one-way from retreat venue), and/or from Topeka ( 50 minutes one -way from retreat venue).
Kitchen Staff
What We Have: The kitchen leader, thankyou, again, Paula!!, who will organize the menu plan, complete the grocery lists, & delegate/organize the work needed to the other kitchen helpers to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
We also have 2 others who have offered to help in the kitchen under Paula.
What We Need:
( 2 or 3 more ) generous souls needed to help in the kitchen under Paula. Please know it is not necessary to know how to cook. The only pre-requisite needed is the willingness to help with the kitchen chores, which include:
Serving the Meals
Clearing Tables after Meals & Resetting the tables for the next meal
Sweeping the floors
Dishes (Always...and many!) This chore is rotated so everyone gets a turn!
Food prep (recipes/instructions provided by the kitchen leader)
